DIMAPUR — The Power department has informed that certain pockets under Dimapur division will experience shutdowns in the morning hours for four days.
A press release issued by the Executive Engineer of Transmission Division, Dimapur, informed that the department will shut down the 66kV powerhouse transmission feeder from April 7 to the 10th as requested by the Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited to help them execute the 132kV transmission tower diversion works at Old Lahorijan Area in Khatkhati, Bokajan.
The shutdown period will be between 4.40 am and 9 am.
“During the shutdown period, consumers catering power supply from the following substations will be affected: 66/11kV Powerhouse Burma Camp; 66/33/11kV Dairy Farm; and 66/33/11kV Nito Farm.
“The department while acknowledging inconvenience caused to the affected consumers, also requests cooperation from all,” it stated.
