DIMAPUR — Chief Electoral Officer of Nagaland Vyasan R inspected the EVM/VVPAT strong room and counting hall located at ADC and DEO office, Pughoboto, Zunheboto district, on Thursday.
The strong room housing the EVMs/VVPATs used in the recently conducted 18th Lok Sabha election is guarded by the B/78 Bn CRPF Sechu personnel, a DIPR report stated.
The CEO, accompanied by Additional CEO Awa Lorin and Deputy CEO Roland Merry, conducted the inspection in the presence of ADC and DEO Tiameren Chang, SDPO Hankiumong and EAC Khriethozo Pfukri.
Party presidents and representatives from recognised political parties also witnessed the inspection, it stated.
