- DIMAPUR — The ceasefire agreement between the
government of India (GoI) and the GPRN/NSCN (U), led by President Gen. (Rtd)
MB. Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh, has been extended for another
year, effective until April 28, 2026.
- A press release from the Naga group informed that the
extension was signed during an official meeting held on Monday at the VIP Guest
House in Chumoukedima Police Complex.
- Representatives from the GoI and a delegation from the
GPRN/NSCN (U) were present at the meeting.
