DIMAPUR — As part
of the annual programme for all churches under Nagaland Police Baptist Churches
Association, the Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF Baptist Church at Central
Training Institute (CTI), Toluvi, held its Uniform Sunday on February 2.
Delivering the greetings, Director General of Home Guards,
Civil Defence and SDRF, Renchamo P Kikon, reflected on the journey of Home
Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF Baptist Church from a humble fellowship to its
present state.
He lauded the church for looking after the spiritual needs
of the department staff and for its progress through faith. Kikon also called
upon the officers and rank holders to provide good leadership, embodying the
values of dedication, sincerity and discipline in every walk of life, so as to
lead the department personnel through good example.
Pastor Asemba Longchar delivered the main sermon, while
women leader Khrienuo prayed for the congregation. The programme was chaired by
HG, CD and SDRF district commandant, Dimapur, M Yingyie Konyak.
