Central team takes note on flagship programs in Zunheboto

Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): The inter-ministerial central team led by Abhishek Chandra, deputy secretary to the Government of India accompanied by Sanjay, under secretary held a meeting with Zunheboto district nodal departments under ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan’ on April 24 in the deputy commissioner’s conference hall. Update from DPRO informed that during the meeting, the visiting team took reports on various central government flagship programs taken up under the Abhiyaan in the district. The flagship programs includes Pradhan Mantri Uijawala Yojana (LPG connections for eligible families), SAUBHAGGYA (Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijili Hat Ghar Yojana), Ujala Scheme (LEDs for all), Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Bhima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bhima Yojana, and Mission Indradhanush ( immunization of children under 2 years and all pregnant women). Power department Zunheboto gave presentation on SUBHAGYA scheme. The team also paid a visit to Askhomi village in the morning.
