Dimapur, Feb. 8: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed “wholehearted support” to its party President Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu and Chief Minister TR Zeliang.
The NPF, central, issued a note on Wednesday stating the support.
The party stated: “People are stakeholders of the NPF, and at the same time, people are the assets and strength of this grand old regional political party. Keeping alive the fire of relentless endeavor to work for the preservation of traditional values and culture with a view to retain the heritage of our society as handed down from our ancestors in which every Naga is responsible for one another, and keeping in mind, the responsibility to uphold the principles of non-violence for resolving all conflicts through peaceful means; the Naga People’s Front (NPF) Central Hqs. extend wholehearted support to the party President Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu and the Chief Minister, Mr. T.R. Zeliang.”
