
Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): Commissionerate of Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Dimapur, took up two projects under its Swachhta Action Plan for the financial year 2021-22.
The first project was the construction of a solar powered library-cum-study hall and toilets next to the hall at St. Gabriel School in Murise village in Dimapur. The school has an enrolment of around 200 students and caters to three surrounding villages of Murise village, Tsithrongse village and Diezephe village, stated an update from the commissionerate.
The second project was the construction of a ring well with pump and reservoir at Rev. Longsa Memorial Orphanage located in Aoyim village, Dimapur. The orphanage presently has around 15 residents among whom one is working at Indigo Airlines and another is playing at the ongoing Dr. T Ao football tournament.
Both the projects were inaugurated on April 22 by the principal commissioner, K Ashi Khieya, along with distribution of school bags for the children and residents of the projects.
