Longleng conducts a training programme for Census 2027 officials on the Town and Village Directory.
DIMAPUR — A training programme for field functionaries and Census officials on the preparation of the Town and Village Directory (TVD) for the District Census Handbook (DCHB), Census 2027, was held at the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Hall in Longleng on Wednesday.
The programme was chaired by the additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Longleng and attended by Census officials and field functionaries from all Census circles of the district, according to an update.
In his opening remarks, the ADC stressed the need for utmost sincerity, accuracy, and commitment in the collection and verification of data, expressing confidence in the officials and functionaries carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
The training was led by Deputy Director of the Directorate of Census Operations, Nagaland, Imkongnunsang, along with Moanunsang and Dauom. The trainers provided detailed guidance on the procedures and requirements for the preparation of the Town and Village Directory.
The intensive and interactive training provided the participants with a better understanding of the data collection and verification process.
