DIMAPUR, APRIL 15
Commemorating one year of the Dimapur police “commissionerate” (panel) system, Dimapur Traffic Police on Friday distributed chocolates and pamphlets to motorists as a token of gratitude for “following and obeying traffic rules” during the past one year.
A team of around 10 traffic personnel led by assistant commissioner of police (traffic) distributed the pamphlets and goodies at the central plaza from around 1 pm.
The traffic department has been handing out small rewards over the past one year as a means to motivating road users to adhere to traffic regulations and safety measures.
Since the inception of Dimapur police panel, the traffic department have taken up various developmental changes toward improving the traffic system of the city.
