The union found out that many schools were found in a deplorable condition due to shortage of head masters or assistant head masters, subject teachers, and general teachers.
The CCSU has come across many teachers who were absent from their assigned duties. Therefore, the union has deducted salary of the absentees with prior information with district education officer, SDEO and deputy commissioner under the notification ‘No work, No pay’. Further, the confederation has warned all the teachers to be sincere and diligently perform their assigned duties and stated the CCSU will not compromise if found absent.
The CCSU has appealed the department in concern to detach all the teachers who were appointed through backdoors.
It also seeks for the department’s interventions into the school buildings which are lying in a depleted condition.
The school environment should be in such a way where student finds it so appealing to attend the classes, the press release added.
