CBCMHK men annual sports meet underway

Zapovil Sophie, Sr. Pastor, Jakhama Baptist Church (JBC) offering a dedicatory prayer and declaring the sports meet open by unfurling the flag. Day 1 of the 2-day meet witnessed league football competition from among the 10 registered teams. Day 1 results: Group A: Lerie Sector Church defeated Chandmari-PWD-Town Area 2-0 Lower Forest defeated Jail-Para Medical 5-0 Lerie Sector Church and Old Minister’s Hill-Poterlane drew 0-0 Old Ministers’ Hill-Poterlane defeated Lower Forest 2-1 Group B: AG Colony defeated Supply-PR Hill-Officers’ Hill 1-0 New Ministers’ Hill-Aradura drew with Agri-Electrical draw 1-1 Upper Forest-Science College defeated Supply-PR Hill-Officers’ Hill 1-0 Meanwhile, Day 2 will witness both the football competition and tug of war from 9 am Caption: Participating teams line up for the opening programme.
