Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) felicitated Neposo Theluo and Wezope Kenye on their recent induction into Indian Administrative Service (IAS) during thanksgiving Sunday-cum-felicitation service held on December 13.
Administering the act of felicitation and thanksgiving prayer, CBCK senior pastor Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh said that God has answered the prayers of the Chakhesang community to have IAS officers for the first time. He challenged the Chakhesang community to take it as a good beginning to march into another milestone, an update from CBCK stated.
Delivering a brief speech, Neposo Theluo thanked CBCK for their constant prayer and encouragement on several occasions. He has attributed to the love of God for enabling him reached such a prestigious position.
Also speaking on the occasion, Wezope Kenye thanked CBCK for honouring them in a befitting manner. He also requested the Chakhesang community to continue to support and pray for them.
On the occasion, Kethovino Rhakho spoke on “Sacrifice of thanksgiving.”
