- DIMAPUR — The women department of Chepoketa
Baptist Church (CBC) in Phek district celebrated 50 years of commemorating
Mother’s Day with a special event on Wednesday.
- The event was held on the theme ‘Mother’s Love” to highlight
the contributions of mothers within the community. To mark the occasion, a
monolith was unveiled by Neingupe-ü K Rhakho, women secretary of Chakhesang
Baptist Church Council (CBCC), along with release of souvenir by Rev. Pukrolhü
Lohe, senior pastor of Yoruba Baptist Church.
- Dr. Vekütulü L Veyie, principal of BTC, was the speaker of
the event and the programme included a musical performance by the church’s
music committee.
