Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) in collaboration with Pinnacle Skills and Pro Rural organised a career guidance and skill development programme on March 25 at Town Hall, Dimapur.
In the first session, resource person, Dr. Yelhi Vero, assistant professor of Peren Government College, spoke on topic “Choosing a rewarding career”. In his speech, he stressed on the need to have faith in God, in making every decisions and believing in the word of God.
Speaker of the second session, Adahe Neli from Pro Rural presented on “Understanding self interest and abilities, 1st step toward career building.” He exhorted the students to explore all the wide range of possibilities and made use of the various schemes and policies introduced by the government for the students.
James Kithan from Pinnacle shared on “Skill development”. He highlighted the training facilities being provided by the Pinnacle Skill centres. Resource person also informed the gathering that all the training programmes are free of cost and provided by the government in order to skill its citizens.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Gaitangliu Gonmei, TSUD Vice President, the invocation by Pechesin Bukh and Ekiehangbe enthralled the gathering with a song of praise.
