Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN): To provide students the resources and tools in areas of counselling, training and coaching for learning acquisition, Brainwonders, which is an organisation that deals in identifying potential in students pursing the academics, has inaugurated on November 9 its first office at Tajen Ao road in Dimapur.
Speaking as the chief guest of the programme, founder of the IPCER counselling training institute Easther Imsong lauded the Brainwonders team for setting up a career counselling centre in the city.
Imsong expressed confidence that the establishment would now help students in choosing their careers.
Speaking about her early days, Imsong said she had no one to guide or show her the way.
Imsong emphasised on the need and importance to give proper and right guidance to students who often have to face an ever demanding world of pressure and confusion when choosing professions.
Brainwonders is said to use scientific tools to help identify the areas of strength of a person.
The establishment provides Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test, which is stated to be a brain mapping and data system. Another method is the Intelligence Quotient test, which is also a method to determine the potential of a child to help them to choose a field of study.
The tests are conducted by certified clinical and career psychologists, one of Brainwonders’ pamphlets states.
