Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): One-day capacity building training was conducted for Educational Volunteers of Informal Education for Marginalized Children (IEMC) centres, a project supported by Wipro Cares at Community Education Centre School Dimapur on May 5.
The training was focused on teaching methods on child psychology, based on the various methods namely- kumon method, montessori method, chunking method and graded method.
The resource person, W. Bendang, CABA also stressed on the general understanding of a child’s psychology under various age categories and the use of innovative and holistic approach to foster progressive learning and all-round development of a child.
The participants were also trained on certain vocational skills using the art of paper to enhance their classroom teaching performance.
A total of 30 volunteers from 15 IEMC centres along with project staffs and intern students from NEISSR attended the capacity building training.
