Canssea holds triennial sessio

Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): The Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees’ Association (Canssea) held its triennial session in its office conference hall at Themezie in Kohima on November 27.

Chairing the session, the outgoing president Dr. Tali Imsong called upon the members to be ready to face any challenge in such a trying time like today. A DIPR report stated that unlike the previous years, the session was held in a low key affair in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic with limited number of invitees.

The members also observed a minute silence in memory of its members who have left for their heavenly abode.

Also speaking on the occasion, the new president Dr. Ilang called upon the members to infuse themselves with the spirit of work culture to better serve the public. He also assured to work to protect the rights of the employees while also expressing his desire to work with the government.

The new team for the tenure 2020-23 would be led by Dr. Ilang as president, Zubemo Tsanglo and Chubayanger Aier as vice presidents, Dr. Hovithal Sothu as general secretary, Yaongsanglee Chang and Yhunsenlo Kent as joint secretaries, Akaho K Yeptho as finance secretary, Siewatho Nyusou as press and information secretary, Toshinaro Ovung and Visetonuo Angami as women co-ordinators, Veyielo Doulo as treasurer, and Dr. Tali Imsong as advisor.
