DIMAPUR — The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employee’s Association ( CANSSEA) has lauded the Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) on being conferred the CIPS Innovation Award 2024 for the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS)—a first-of-its-kind initiative by the state to provide universal health protection.
In a press release, the association stated that this prestigious recognition stands as a testimony to the government’s vision and commitment towards ensuring affordable, accessible and equitable healthcare for all citizens.

“While celebrating this remarkable achievement, it is equally important to build upon this success. Further strengthening of CMHIS by focusing on seamless cashless service delivery in the underserved and unreached rural areas of Nagaland will not only widen the reach of this scheme but also reinforce public trust and inclusiveness,” it stated.
“We once again congratulate NHPS, the Department of Health & Family Welfare, and all stakeholders for their tireless efforts, and look forward to even greater strides in transforming Nagaland’s healthcare system.”
