Also speaking on the occasion, Kekhrie Yhome has underlined his vision to work with the youth for a progressive society. Yhome has also stressed on the need for young legislators who could address the challenges and the needs of the changing times. He maintained that young people should get involve into politics to bring change and development with renewed polices and approaches.
Politics, he said should not be played on party lines rather it is about the power of policies that can change the lives of the people, and pressed on the urgent need to elect the right representatives keeping in mind the constant need to prepare for our present welfare and for the care of our future.
Yhome has also stressed on the need for healthy debates, new attitude and thinking as he observed the trust deficit between the people and its leadership which has affected the growth and progress of the Nagas as a society.

Confidently stating ‘within 20 days we will form the next government’, Yhome solicited the support and cooperation of the youth and the wisdom of the elders to give him a chance to prove himself as a leader.
