Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): The Community Avenue Network (Can) Youth has conducted a capacity building workshop on ‘discovering self and career opportunity’ with the youth of Signal Angami village at its Panchayat hall on July 9.
According to an updates from the organisation, the founder of the Can Youth, Jenpu Rongmei spoke about skills and talents of youth that ‘go wasted and undiscovered while in search of government service.’ He encouraged the youth to succeed in life by managing proper effort, skills and hard work. He also challenge the youths to come out of their comfort zone and stop blaming the system. Further, he urged them to be self dependent and work for the sustainability of one’s life.
The program facilitator of Can Youth, Kivitoli Sema, facilitated the youths about the program and vision of the workshop.
During the workshop, the youths were also informed about job avenues, entrepreneurs’ opportunity, and upcoming skill training program through the support of different partners of Can Youth.
The youth opined that the government should start a programme where aspiring entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas to government. They also urged in bringing more private sector market and increase development in tourism sector.
