Campaign on settlement of unclaimed deposits in Dimapur on November 28

DIMAPUR — A district-level awareness-cum-campaign on the settlement of unclaimed deposits has been convened at the conference hall of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dimapur, on November 28 at 1:30 pm.

According to a circular issued by the DC Dimapur Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, the meeting will include all village council chairmen under Dimapur district, representatives from the Dimapur Urban Colony Chairman Federation, representatives from the GBs Union Dimapur, and representatives from the GBs Association Dimapur.

The programme is being organised as part of a nationwide campaign initiated by the Reserve Bank of India and State Bank of India to facilitate the efficient and faster settlement of unclaimed deposits, dividends, interest warrants, pensions, etc., to enable rightful customers, nominees, or legal heirs to claim their funds.

All concerned have been requested to attend the programme and disseminate the information widely within their respective jurisdictions. The circular solicited the active cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure the success of this public-orientated initiative.
