The camp was organized by the education programme Samagra shiksha. The government’s publicity agency, the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), offered updates on Tuesday about the camp. Deputy Mission Director Talitemsu Jamir invited the people for whom the camp was organised, to avail the opportunity “so that differently persons will be in a safer position,” the IPR informed. Kiphire The district education mission society of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at Kiphire will be conducting a similar camp for children with special needs, on May 22 at the EBRC hall in Kiphire town. “Hearing aids like deformities, assistive device will be provided as per their needs. State officials and Star Key representatives from New Delhi will be present in the camp,” the IPR stated.
