Dimapur Feb. 25 (EMN): An institution, Dimapur-based Calvary Bible Institute (CBI) conducted its 6th batch graduation ceremony on Fri. at Life Spring Corner in Dimapur. The event was conducted based on the scripture verse of Isaiah 60:1 (“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.)
“It is a time arises and shines in the light and glory of God which has been imparted upon all the believers. People have been hiding or were in the captivity because they were without the light. But now light has come and Glory of God is given…” the organisers stated in a press release that was issued on Sun.
According to the press release, the director of the institute Rev. Suk Kumar Chettri addressed tge students. He urged them to ‘rise and shine to preach and to save souls as the light is given during the one year of Bible training; the student are now filled with light and knowledge of God’s calling in their life,’ according to the press release.
‘He informed the students that they have been filled with light and that it was time for them to rise and shine so that the people would follow them,’ the press release stated. But, the updates stated, he reminded them to continue to spent time in the presence of God ‘to shine and be filled with His glory as Moses use to do during which people were unable to see his face as the glory of God shone on his face…’
The students were also cited based on the students’ ministry report, the updates stated.
Some of the highlights of the programme included music and testimony from the institution’s graduates; a dance performance by youths of Nepali Baptist Church at Kohima and prayers for the graduates.
