DIMAPUR — The 13th fresher’s week celebration of the C-Edge College, Chümoukedima, which began on July 14, culminated on July 18.
An update from the college stated that the main event took place on Friday at the GK auditorium with Temjenkala Aier, CEO of Eagle Crest Training Academy & Consultancy, as the guest speaker.
Speaking at the event, the guest speaker motivated the students to prioritise their mental wellbeing by encouraging them to engage and participate in extra-curricular activities to maintain a healthy balance in their lives. She also instilled in them the value of every job, to recognise the significance of every role and understanding that no job is too small to make a difference.

During the event, awards were given to the best in attendance and university gold medallist of the college. Speeches were also delivered by Solunto Y of BA I semester and Khrozo-u Kafo of BA V semester.
It stated that Wewude Tsusha and Christina Sumi were crowned Mr and Miss Fresher 2025, while Benjongninsang and Ayetoli V Aye were declared runners-up.
The event featured a music performance by Zhovelu and friends, who enthralled the audience with their talents.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Imnatenjen Ozukum, assistant general secretary of CECSF.
