Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): Saranga Patowary, Lead High Network Individual (HNI) North East JIO, Guwahati, on May 12 formally launched a Jio Wi-Fi connection making C-Edge College a Wi-FI campus.
The introduction to the event and invocation for the programme was done by Wapangla Imchen, Assistant Professor and Limongi Khuvung, Assistant Professor respectively. Saranga Patowary, Lead HNI (High Network Individual) North East JIO, Guwahati graced the event and inaugurated the college into a Wi-Fi campus.
He shared that it is the dream of Mukesh Ambani to connect government schools and now colleges in India with internet. He also mentioned that C-Edge College is one of the few colleges to be selected to get free Wi-Fi connection.
Er. Moa Aier, president of the college appreciated and thanked the Jio team for their selfless act to get the college connected promptly into a Wi-Fi campus.
The inauguration programme was attended by the students, faculty and JIO team members. The programme concluded with an interactive session with George Murry, Manager JIO Nagaland as the resource person.
