
DIMAPUR — The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN), in collaboration with the Department of Industries and Commerce (DIC) and the State Bank of India (SBI) as the knowledge partner, conducted a workshop on business governance for women entrepreneurs in Zunheboto district on August 6.
The workshop, themed 'Year of business governance,' was titled 'Importance of regulatory business compliances and documentation' and was conducted at the DC conference hall, Zunheboto, according to a press release.
Fifty-five women entrepreneurs from various fields attended the workshop, which featured speakers and subject experts from DIC, SBI, and WENN.
A range of aspects were covered in the workshop, including regulatory business compliances, trade licences, UDYAM registration, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India registration, the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises scheme, and financial literacy.
The workshop was part of a series of initiatives by WENN to empower women entrepreneurs in Nagaland.
