DIMAPUR — The 13th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Business Association of Nagas (BAN) was held at E-Space, Dimapur, on June 18.
According to an update, the meeting brought together members, stakeholders, and representatives from various institutions to discuss key initiatives aimed at fostering and strengthening Naga entrepreneurship.
During the meeting, members deliberated on several important agendas focused on promoting sustainable business growth, enhancing entrepreneurial opportunities, and strengthening support systems for Naga entrepreneurs across the state.
A significant highlight of the programme was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. (AICIL) and BAN. The partnership aims to foster collaboration in expanding insurance awareness and outreach across Nagaland, particularly within the agriculture and allied sectors.

The AGM also featured presentations and interactions with representatives from various government agencies and institutions, providing insights into schemes and opportunities available to entrepreneurs.
BAN reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling ecosystem for Naga businesses and entrepreneurs through strategic partnerships, capacity-building initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
