Kohima, April 11 (EMN):
A bus carrying students of St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, met with a minor accident on Monday afternoon after it fell into a drain between Phesama and Kohima along the National Highway 2.

Sources from the Kohima Police told Eastern Mirror that it was a minor accident and one passenger who suffered a minor injury was released after receiving first aid.

The college authority also said that the injured passenger was taken to a private hospital in Kohima for further examination and discharged later after CT scan, X-ray, and Ultra sound test results came out stable.

A source informed that the private bus that was providing transportation to college students skidded and fell into a drain. It added that the accident was a case of drunken driving and the driver was taken into police custody.
