Dimapur, April 11 (EMN): Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero, celebrated its 25th Graduation ceremony wherein 45 students received diploma in Bachelor of Divinity under Senate of Serampore University.
Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, Chairman of Board of Governors, BTC, chaired the programme, while Rev. Khrotso Mero, Senior Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kohima, said the invocation. Old Testament and New Testament lessons were read by Rev. Kevengoi, Pastor of Lozaphuhu Baptist Church, and Dzuthohu Kezo, Pastor of Kikruma Baptist Church, respectively. Thanksgiving prayer was led by Rev. Khrutsoi Luruo, former president CBCC.
Rev. Senokhape Losou, Vice Principal of BTC, presented the graduates with various awards and prizes, followed by presentation of College Diploma by Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah, Principal of BTC.
The college choir presented a message in song 'Go ye into the world'. Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary NBCC and guest speaker, stressed on the superiority of spiritual grade and honesty over academic grade, intelligence and talent. He encouraged the students to manifest God's love and power through their lives.
The programme concluded with benediction pronounced by Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, executive secretary CBCC.
