Dimapur, Aug. 26 (EMN): The Bengali Students Union (BSU) organized a ‘Sradhhanjali’ programme, a tribute to Tapash Paul, former president of Hindu Yuva Sangh and founder member of DBSU at its office conference hall at Millennium Market in Dimapur.
The Bengali community leaders and office bearers of DBSU and HYS participated in the program and paid floral tribute at the portrait of Tapash Paul.
It may be mentioned that Paul was drowned in a river at Tinsukia and died on Aug. 19 at the age of 28. The union said he was a dynamic youth leader from Bengali community and had contributed in different capacities in the society.
Leaders from the Bengali community of Dimapur addressed the gathering and paid tribute to the departed soul.
