Undoubtedly, this ongoing outbreak Covid-19/SARS 2 pandemic is a highly contagious one which leaves no room for much compromise.
The Authorities concerned are impressively doing their pivotal roles diligently. Despite everything on the go, I wish to draw a modest line at this juncture; bringing ‘Daily Wage earners’ to the light.
Quite interestingly, Zomato (online eatery services) started this ‘free feeding initiative’ providing INR 1.5 million for the Daily Wage workers. Numerous states viz Kerela, Delhi, Punjab, U.P etc. have candidly promised Social Security fulfillments, dropping rations door steps, etc. in order to tackle economic challenges.
Apparently, here in our state too, with ever growing population engaging in the unorganised private sectors or working as daily wage earners, we ought to streamline certain viable policies in order to reach out especially the worst hit masses with profound care and concern.
