Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): A boy from Dimapur is said to have been found in Tinsukia in Assam. Non governmental child welfare group Childline of Dimapur has sought information about the parents or relatives of a boy identified as Rahul, no second name. He stated to be aged about 11 years old.
Updates from Childline informed that it had received information on Tuesday from its Tinsukia unit about the boy.
According to the updates on Friday from Dimapur Childline, he claimed to be a resident of Burma Camp in Dimapur. Based on this information, members of the group went to trace his parents according to address and location that was given. However, his parents’ whereabouts could not been found, Childline stated.
Rahul is currently lodged at a shelter in Tinsukia, the updates said.
