Botsa to enforce total lockdown

Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): In compliance with the government’s directive, Botsa village council has resolved to enforce total lockdown due to the threat of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The resolution to this effect was taken during a meeting on March 25 convened by the village council in the presence of various organisations, EAC of Botsa circle and MO of PHC Botsa, an update from the village council chairman Zhahelie Rio stated on Wednesday.

The house resolved that only three designated ration shops would be allowed to open within the village namely at Gracy hotel area, another at central part of Botsa and the third at Highway Inn hotel area. The shops should be opened from 6 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The house also resolved not to entertain any outsiders during the entire lockdown period. It further resolved that no resident of Botsa should venture out of their respective compounds unless for exigent requirements.
