[caption id="attachment_136615" align="alignleft" width="300"] Hotongse Sangtam (centre) during the releasing of the book ‘Naga Yangthsathsaba Chidüm’ on September 1.[/caption] Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): A book titled ‘Naga Yangthsathsaba Chidüm,’ which is an adaptation and translation in Sangtam language from a book published by Er. Kibangwar Jamir was formally released by Dr. NT Manen Sangtam, chairman of Sangtam Literature Board, on September 1. The book narrates about events encountering the Nagas since 1918 with the three great nations namely the Britishers, American missionaries and Indians. With permission, the book was translated by Rev. T Tsipise into Sangtam language and sponsored and published by N Hotongse Sangtam, president of UNDP. The book was published for the benefit of the people, especially the younger generation of the community to enable them know the events/ history of its people.
