Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): Two persons were killed and at least three others injured in a freak bomb blast that occurred at Burma Camp in Dimapur on Tuesday.

According to Dimapur police, the tragic incident took place when the victim, a metal scrap collector, was ‘handling a vintage bomb’, which he had found, with a hammer.

In the process, the explosive item went off, killing the person handling it. Later on in the evening, a 2-year-old infant who was also injured, succumbed to the wound at a hospital.
