Blue Star lifts 3rd Archers Super Six Cricket trophy

Our Correspondent Kohima, Aug 3 Visiting team from Dimapur – Blue Star lifted the coveted title of the 3rd Archers Super Six Cricket Tournament organized by Archers Club, Kohima at Kohima Local Ground.Playing the final match of the three day tourney, Blue Star defeated home team Juggernauts by 42 runs. Taking the bat first, Blue Star scored a huge 121 runs in 40 balls with Jalal contributing highest 48 runs hitting six sixes. Juggernauts bowler Dito claimed three rival wickets. Chasing the huge target, Juggernauts were all out scoring 79 runs. Champions Blue Star took home cash award of Rs. 30,000 with trophy and citation while runners-up Juggernauts received cash Rs. 10,000 with citation. Earlier playing the exhibition match, team Naga Blog defeated YouthNet by three wickets. Batting first, YouthNet scored 54 runs while Naga Blog achieved it losing two wickets.
