Mokokchung, May 13: Blossom Pre-School, one of the front runners in pre-schooling under Mokokchung town, culminate the “Kindness Week” by distributing tons of clothes, shoes, food items and toys to the needed families to senior citizens of Chuchuyimpang village on Friday.
‘Kindness Week’ of the Blossom Pre-School is part of their curriculum and was observed from May 9 -13. During the week-long programme, parents donated tons of clothes, shoes, food items and toys where the students shared kindness boxes to families who were in needs.
According to Sashinungla Nathan, proprietor of the Preschool, the main reason behind observing ‘Kindness Week’ was to instill sense of being courteous, loving and to share with fellow being hoping that this small lesson would enable the children to grow as more responsible and loving adult.
She also expressed her sincere gratitude to all the Blossom parents for their generous contributions which has not only brought relief to the needed families but also contributed in imparting moral values to the students.
More than a hundre senior citizens and parents avail the charitable aid donated by the students.
