DIMAPUR — The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Nagaland unit protested outside Congress Bhavan in Dimapur on Saturday, shouting "Congress party Murdabad, Murdabad" and condemning the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) activists for allegedly shaming the country with their behaviour at the AI Summit inside Bharat Mandapam.
BJYM Nagaland president V Khekato Awomi said the protest was against Congress members' actions at the AI Summit, which had global leaders and dignitaries in attendance.
Awomi questioned the timing of Congress's protest at the AI Summit, stating that they could have done it later. He said it challenged the event, which showcased India's progress to global leaders.
BJYM Nagaland general secretary Rajat Ghosh dismissed allegations about the AI robotic dog being a Chinese product as "mere accusations" without proof.

He stressed that BJYM's protest was against Youth Congress's "cruel act" of protesting at an international summit and said it was not a platform for street protests and that it projected a negative image of India.
BJYM Nagaland general secretary Likao Odyuo reiterated that the AI robotic dog issue was just an allegation. He said the protest was only about condemning Youth Congress members' conduct at the summit.
