Dimapur, Nov. 26 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Zunheboto district president Shikuto Sema through a press release informed that Vikaho Zhimo has been removed from the post of district vice president for violation of the party constitution and committing anti party activities on several counts with immediate effect.
“The party leadership crisis created by district vice president, Vikaho Zhimo in the district for some time was resolved with five presidents and four Morcha leaders and extended unconditional support to the leadership of district president Shikuto Sema,” the release stated.
This was announced by the district president during a joint meeting of BJP Zunheboto district in-charge, Hurui Zeliang and state vice president, Sengkathung along with district office bearers, mandal presidents of respective constituencies and morcha leaders at party office Zunheboto on Nov. 15.
In the meeting, Zeliang spoke on various party issues and appealed the Mandal presidents to speed up the formation works of booth level workers in all the polling station.
He also interrogated the Mandal presidents and Morcha leaders and examined the leadership the crisis in the district. He encouraged the party workers to patch up if there is any past differences and work hard to face the 2018 state election.
Sengkathung while exhorting party functionaries, said if BJP comes to power in 2018 election shall strive to eradicate the corruption and stand firm to bring development in the state.
He also mentioned that the BJP government at the centre is corrupt free government and working for the uplift of the poor and downtrodden people in the country.
