Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): The BJP organizing secretary in-charge Nagaland Ananta Narayan Mishra attended the the 5th District Executive Meeting held at Zunheboto on May 30.
In his address, Mishra mentioned that all round development activities in Nagaland is very poor and said the state need to go far ahead to compete with other states. He also pointed out deplorable condition of roads, poor health, transport and other facilities and sectors which need to be revamped.
He accused that NPF 3 terms government is found most corrupted for which genuine development works are never implemented judiciously.
He said BJP is not a religious party; it is a political party and has nothing to target the Christians or any other minorities. Stating that that India is a secular and democratic country, every religion has liberty to have own faith, he said this is totally false rumour and fabricated by other political rivals. The BJP government in the centre has appointed many state Governors from Muslim and Christian community, those are the living examples, he added.
He commented that Nagas need changes and the BJP is the only alternative party to bring corruption free government in the state. Mishra challenged the party workers that under his supervision Nagaland will form BJP government during 2018 election. He asked the mandal presidents and frontal leaders and party workers to work hard for 2018 general election.
He stated that when Atal Bihari Vajpai, the then Prime Minister of India visited Nagaland in 1982, he made a commitment to give four-lane road between Dimapur to Kohima. However, he said during 10 years of Congress government in the centre, his commitment was not implemented but, now after the BJP government returned to power, Nagas could see the reality as the road construction work is in progress.
He also gave 10 points work assignment to the mandal president and frontal leaders.
State Executive member, I.Kheto exhorted the party workers and encouraged the mandal president to work hard starting from the grassroots level to face the 2018 State Assembly election. He said 15 years of NPF government has failed to deliver the developmental works and expectations of Naga people. It is now high time to bring BJP government in the state for all-round developments. Nagas need changes for better tomorrow, he added.
