Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Wokha district, resolved after its executive meeting held on Oct. 19 to render its full support to the state BJP leaders and that there would be no change of guard in the party setup in the district.
The party said in a statement that the BJP Wokha district has reaffirmed and resolved to give full support and cooperation to Temjen Imna Along, the state BJP president and his team for the uplift of the party. It also resolved to work together to strengthen the party under the guidance and advice of deputy chief minister, Y Patton and Advisor, Mmhonlumo Kikon.
The district party unit also resolved that there would be no change of guards in the mandals, frontals and district officials at present “since all the rank and files are voluntarily working hard for betterment of party.”
Subenthung Kithan, vice president, BJP Nagaland was the special guest of the executive meeting. All the BJP Wokha office bearers and district executive members, state executive members representing the district, four mandal presidents and general secretaries, presidents and general secretaries of frontal organisations like the BJYM, BJMM, ST Morcha, Kisan Morcha, minority Morcha and ex. servicemen cell, and some state office bearers representing the district and senior party workers attended the meeting.
