The attention of BJP has been drawn through the local media regarding the statement of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary In- Charge for Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Dr. K. Jayakumar claiming about the rise in attacks on religious Minorities like killings and burning of Churches in India. The BJP Nagaland wants to know where such incidences took place recently. The BJP Nagaland asks him to produce specific proofs where and when it occurred. If he does not produce specifically one should not speak vaguely to fool and mislead the public. If he cannot provide he should apologise to the people. The BJP Nagaland once again issues its stand and agenda to the people that BJP is for development and development for all. The BJP Government created the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Minority Affairs and the Ministry of Department of North East Region.
The Congress agenda is to divide and rule and during the Congress rule the minorities, OBC especially Tribal people suffered untold miseries and still remain backward. The BJP declared the uniqueness of Naga history and is sincere for Naga political solution. Regarding the Good Governance day the Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee’s birthday on the 25th of December cannot change though it coincide with the Christian festival i.e. Christmas day. However, the Christian dominated States observe the Good Governance day either before or after the Christmas day. The BJP appeals to the people to have confidence in the Constitution of India which guarantees protection and freedom of religion or faith to every citizen. The Congress party ruled many years in Nagaland and now the AICC official openly admitted their misrule in Nagaland. Therefore, the BJP appeal to the people of Nagaland to give a decisive mandate to BJP in the coming 2018 Assembly General Election in Nagaland.
