Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): Phek unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has congratulated Temjen Imna Along on his appointment as the new state president of the party.
A congratulatory note from the unit has expressed confidence that the party would grow from strength to strength and achieve greater heights under his leadership. The unit has also appreciated the central leaders for choosing him to lead the party in Nagaland.
The party has, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and the deputy chief minister, Y Patton, for assigning its party candidate, Kevechutso Doulo, to be the chairman of the Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED).
The unit has also thanked all the BJP legislators and central leaders for reposing faith on his leadership. The unit has wished him all success in his endeavours.
The unit also thanked the former state president, Visasolie Lhoungu, for successfully leading the party and nurturing it with his best of abilities.
