Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): The BJP Phek district held its 5th executive meeting on May 18 at Chizami Town Hall, with attendance of all five mandals from Pfutsero, Chizami, Chozuba, Phek and Meluri.
Addressing the party workers, State BJP executive member and the intending candidate from the 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency, Kevechutso Doulo, said that 17th Chizami A/C is the most vibrant and mature constituency. God’s given time has come to change and developed the Phek district and particularly the 17th Chizami A/C, he said.
“People should be determined for a change. We cannot afford to continue to be stagnant in a vibrant society and to create opportunity to happen” Doulo added.
He challenged the party men to work hard, steadfast for all round development and be an agent of a change.
While expressing that BJP party is the only party that can deliver good governance for the welfare of the people, Nagaland State BJP President Visasolie Lhoungu appealed the party men not to be carry away by false rumours. He stated that BJP party is different from the other political party because it provides equal opportunity to every citizen of India.
“The BJP party is growing and blooming in every state and so Nagaland state. People are fed up of corruption and want the BJP government to meet the people expectation”, he added.
Accusing the opposition party for polarising the political issue with religion, he said that BJP party is a secular political party where every party man is free to practise his/her own choice of faith. A very good Christian can be a very good politician. Congress party have ever to worry because the BJP party is working hard to evaluate its performance to make India free from congress. He also said that the opposition parties are confusing by seeing the growth and development undertaken by the NDA Government.
Adviso of Labour and Employment, Skills Development, Treasuries and Accounts, Dr. T.M Lotha, addressing the party workers also stated that time is running short for the next general election and advice the party workers to be ready and prepare to take it. He assured that BJP party will formed the next government and called upon the people of Phek district especially the 17th Chizami A/C to come out with its leader for the next government formation. He said that the whole state is changing and so, Chizami Constituency cannot be left aside and should a part of a change.
He also mentioned that BJP party is for development and focus on ‘Act East Policy’ instead of ‘Look East Policy’ by the previous government. He said by just looking and watching will not do any help and develop the people of the Northeast, but have to act and work for the region as Northeast is the gateway of South East Asian. He also said the congress party had completely failed in all fronts no matter which parameter was used to oppose the party and its agenda is only to criticise the other political party.
“There is no prescription for anybody to follow any religion and no restriction because India is a secular state. Christian faith cannot be question and compromise” he added.
