Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): The 7th BJP Peren District executive meeting held on Oct. 16 at Centre point Hotel Jalukie Town which was attended by state executive members of the party.
A press release from the BJP, Peren unit general secretary, Tingsangai John Panmei, stated that those who attended the meeting included the general secretary of Kisan morcha Nagaland state unit, T. Mirhu; the vice president of ST Morcha, Nagaland state unit, James Akham; the vice president of Mahila morcha, Nagaland state unit Dr. Tasile N. Zeliang and others.
The general secretary of Kisan morcha Nagaland state unit, T. Mirhu, while speaking at the programme, cited the parable of Jesus and his 12 Apostle that they could outreach the Gospel of Jesus throughout the whole world.
“Likewise though we have few/handful of leaders we would work devotedly and outsmart the rest of the political parties in the state. We are the disciples of BJP everyone has same responsibility to magnifying and strengthening the party therefore we must work sincerely and enthusiastically,” the release stated.
The vice-president of S.T. Morcha Nagaland state unit, James Akham said that “7th Peren Mandal is politically orphan” as there is no representative in the state; however the party will not discriminate and we will also address the grievances of the district to the government, he said.
Khiubangdi Chawang, secretary of Nagaland state unit, while speaking at the meeting, said that ‘the BJP is the political party who understand the opinion of the people having good rapport to the aggrieved and underprivileged people’. He urged the party workers to uphold and have constant coordination with the booth level leaders and further. He further opined the task of the party workers that the party means to send our representative to the state legislative assembly by winning an election. “So the task that we need/must do is to motivate and mobilize the policy and ideology of the party. I assured that in the next general election will send our party representative to the state legislative Assembly,” said Chwang.
Later the August house resolved to reshuffle the morcha’s heads and unanimously selected the following given below: Ngouning Chwang as president; Izaichile Kenn as Mahila morcha president; Pazatsuang as ST morcha president; Kogwam Guing as Yuva Morcha president; and Henkhogin Singsit as minority morcha president.
