Dimapur, July 25 (EMN): The 37th Tiyi Mandal BJP held a meeting on July 18, at Yikhum Village Community Hall with Ananta Narayan Mishra, organizing secretary BJP Nagaland; Er. Cheong Konyak State BJP in-charge Wokha District; Er Senkathung Jami, Sate vice president; Savuo Ngullie, president state Mahila Morcha; district officials of 37th Tiyi A/C Mandal and Chopathung Odyuo senior party worker.
In the meeting, Chopathung Odyuo, senior party worker declared his candidature in front of the State BJP officials, district officials, villagers and constituency public and party karyakartas. He also requested the villagers to be his based foundation and the party karyakartas to work hard to reap the good fruits in the coming general election.
Mishra in his speech pointed out that in Nagaland, there is road, but no maintenance, no drinking water facilities and no regular electricity supply particularly in Tiyi constituency. He said if people voted BJP to power in next government, regular 24x7 power supply, water supply and every road in Nagaland will be renovated within one year.
Er. Cheong Konyak tells the gathering that the BJP is not a Hindu party but a party for the grass root public.
The meeting was chaired by Shri. Renben Ngullie, president 37th Tiyi BJP Mandal, invocation prayers was opffered by Zanben Kithan (YBC), welcome address was delivered by Yibemo, general secretary of the Mandal while vote of thanks was proposed by Khonbemo Kikon, vice president of the Mandal.
