BJP Nagaland reacts to K Therie

The State Bahatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland, would like to extend a rejoinder to the press statements given by K Therie, president, NPCC, under the caption, “The writing on the wall is for a change”. Throughout the ages down the history there were, are and will be intellectuals or the intelligentsias contributing selfless service to the societies It is good to do something for a good change. However, it would be wrong to put entire blame on Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, for every act of communal and racial discrimination. Communalism, racism and caste system have been there since pre – independence India era and Congress regime and the present time is not the exception. There are some fundamentalists which are attempting to flare up communal tension against the national interest and defaming the PM and the BJP.The Central Government has time and time again announced that it would not tolerate religious and racial discrimination and the government is working hard to promote the religious minorities and the STs including the NE region. Communal clash or racial discrimination or beef ban is a law and order problem which is handled by a State government and most of the times such incidents are erupting in the States where BJP is not ruling. The BJP as a political party or Narendra Modi as the PM of India has done nothing against the religious minorities and STs or NE people. The Indian National Congress (INC) was decimated during the last elections due to gross corruption and corrupt policy and will further be decimated because there is no change in the leadership .They still could not digest that BJP is in power. People want to see new leaders and not the same old dirty stuff in the sinking boat of corruption.
