BJP Mokokchung dedicates IT Cell

[caption id="attachment_265950" align="aligncenter" width="500"] BJP Mokokchung district officials led by its president along with other office bearers after the dedication of the newly refurbished IT Cell at the party’s office on August 15.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): Coinciding with the 73rd Independence Day celebration, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mokokchung division, dedicated its newly furnished Information Technology (IT) chamber at the party’s office in Arkong Ward in the presence of office bearers from all the mandals of the division. The IT Cell of the BJP Mokokchung division, which is one of the most important cells in division, had been functioning with limited resources for the past few years. However, considering the importance of information technology and in consonance with the advocacy of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for exploiting the information technology at hand, the BJP Mokokchung division endeavoured reaching out to every nook and corner of Nagaland through all medium of publicity. Convenor of IT Cell, Nukshi I Ozukum, stated that the IT Cell of the Mokokhung division envisioned reaching out to each and every household about the government policies and programmes. The IT Cell would be manned by qualified BJP party members dedicated to disseminating and answering to any queries relating to the functioning of the BJP programmes and policies, he added. President of BJP Mokokchung division, RN Nungsang, who was present at the dedication programme, expressed his happiness that the IT Cell has its chamber at the party office. He also underscored the importance of information technology in the modern world and exuded hope that those involved in the IT Cell would carry out the aims and objectives of the party to the nook and corners of Nagaland. President of the ST Morcha, Apong Longchar, who is also the coordinator of the BJP membership drive for Mokokchung district, expressed satisfaction and hoped that a separate IT chamber for the information and technology would greatly help in the membership drive in the district. Apong Longchar stated that with the dedication of a separate IT cell in the party office, the membership for the party would be carried out in a more intensive manner so that none of the aspiring BJP members would be left out in Mokokchung. Saying that Information and technology has a great role in nation building, Longchar encouraged the IT cell office bearers to take note of social media like facebook, tweeter, instagram etc so that the BJP programmes and policies would reach to even the remotest of the village. Meanwhile, IT Cell convenor, Nukshi I Ozukum, expressed gratitude to the State BJP president, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer for his dedication and support towards the establishment of the IT Cell in Mokokchung.
