BJP leader donates oxygen concentrator to Impur hospital

Dimapur, May 29 (EMN): BJP national vice-president from Nagaland, Dr. M Chuba Ao, on Saturday visited  Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) and donated an oxygen concentrator to be used for the patients in the hospital.

The BJP national vice president, while handing over the healthcare equipment to the hospital authorities in the presence of the ABAM executive secretary Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, said that he felt greatly for the Impur Christian Hospital, which is a private institution providing a yeoman service in the society. He also stated that he has an emotional attachment with the ICH since his deceased mother also studied at the Impur Mission Centre and added that he always thinks about Impur with deep fondness in his heart, an update from BJP Mokokchung media and IT cell stated.

Chuba stated that the oxygen concentrator was donated to the hospital in memory of his mother and hoped that it would serve the needs of the people since the healthcare equipment was much needed in every hospital during this time of the pandemic.

The BJP Mokokchung district president, Imlolemba Jamir, who accompanied the BJP national vice president, expressed gratitude to the BJP national president JP Nadda for appointing Dr. Chuba Ao at the national level. He added that his appointment was a clear indication that the BJP gives utmost importance to every community in the country irrespective of region, community or religion.

He also pointed out that Dr. Chuba Ao is one among the only twelve national vice presidents in the whole country and that his appointment was a blessing for the whole Naga people and the northeast region as a whole.

The BJP Mokokchung district treasurer Watiba, BJP ST Morcha Nagaland state executive Limatoshi, and BJP 23 Impur mandal president Meyaba were also present at the programme.

Meanwhile, the ICH authorities have appreciated the BJP national vice president Dr. Chuba Ao for his concern and donation.

It mentioned that Dr. Chuba Ao had, on May 12, also donated medicines to the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, to be given to those Covid patients who could not afford them. The donated medicines were handed to the CMO through the BJP Mokokchung district office.
