BJP Kohima unit holds meet

Dimapur, March 11 (EMN): Kohima unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held its 2nd executive meeting on March 9 at its district office with the State president, Visasolie Lhoungu, as the guest speaker. While acknowledging that the party status is not as expectedly good in the State, the State president however, said that should not be a reason to criticise other parties or the members within one’s own party. He mentioned that BJP stands for the development and progress of the down trodden and weaker sections of the society. He said BJP is the only party that could be at a better and positive position to bring about development to the State.District general secretary of Mandal, Mahila and Yuva Morcha presidents presented their activity reports. The meeting was chaired by the Kohima district president, while the invocation prayer was said by State executive member, Kelhuzhato Nakhro, and the vote of thanks was proposed by district vice president, Kezhalezo Khawakhrie. Yuva Secretary, Hichule Tep presented a special number.
